The evening program on Friday and Saturday will take place at Bunkerei, Obere Augartenstr 1a, 1020 Wien. For a map and direction, scroll down.

How to get there:

Vienna has two main train stations: the WESTBAHNHOF (Europaplatz 2) & the SÜDBAHNOF (Wiedner Gürtel 1B). The latter is currently under reconstruction, so all trains are redirected to the nearby provisional train station "Südbahnhof (Ostbahn)".

Before using the Underground ("U-Bahn"), we recommend you buy a 3-day travel ticket ("72-Stunden-Karte") at one of the counters or ticket machines. This is an integrated ticket which can be used for all Underground ("U-Bahn"), Trams and Buses in the city.

from Westbahnhof main station:
1) Underground U3 (orange line, direction Simmering) to “Volkstheater”
2) Underground U2 (violet line, direction Stadion) to “Rathaus”
3) Depart, leave the station, turn round and enter Amerikahaus

from Südbahnhof (Ostbahn) main station:
1) Underground U1 (red line, direction Leopoldau) to “Karlsplatz”
2) Underground U2 (violet line, direction Stadion) to “Rathaus”
3) Depart, leave the station, turn round and enter Amerikahaus

Vienna Airport (Schwechat) is served by all major airlines and some low-budget carriers (EasyJet, AirBerlin). Bratislava Airport in Slovakia is also within a 90 minute bus or train ride from Vienna city centre, and is the nearest airport served by low budget carrier Ryanair.

How to get there:

Stops “Gaußplatz” or “Obere Augartenstraße” Tram 31, Bus 5A

1) Take the U2 or U4 to Schottenring and change to Tram 31 (direction “Stammersdorf”) and get off at the second stop. OR

2) Take the U1 to Nestroyplatz and change to Bus 5A (direction “Griegstraße”) and get off at the fifth stop. OR

3) If you enjoying walking, you may walk from each of the subway stops in the vicinity of the Bunkerei to this location (approx. 15 min). The nearest stops are Roßauer Lände U4, Schottenring U2, U4, Taborstraße U2.

On Fridays and Saturdays there is a 24-hour subway service; some buses and trams will be replaced by nightbuses. For example, the N31 will take you from the stops “Gaußplatz” or “Obere Augartenstraße” back to Schwedenplatz where you may change to the U1 and U4.
